Product Details
This 1.5mm model, made with Italian leather, was born from the desire to "expand the versatility of cowhide while retaining its rich harmonic dampening and playing feel."
By moderately reducing the muting effect compared to 2.0mm cowhide, it maintains the attack and delicate ghost note response. It creates a rich, enveloping, low-pitched tone for genres like pop, ballads, and neo-soul.
Even high-pitched snares can instantly change their sound quality by simply "placing" this on top.
It dramatically expands the tonal range of a single drum.
A carabiner magnet is standard equipment to prevent shifting during play.
It can be attached and detached with a single touch between the drum tuning key and tension bolt, allowing for smooth sound changes between songs.
